A Daily Poll
There was a site exclusivelygames by thequartering and before it went defunct it had a forum. I did a daily poll on all sorts of game topics and most people seemed to like it. EG had poll functionality baked into the site but plenty of poll sites exist and I could start one now until the admins put that functionality into this forum. I’d post it here in general discussion so it could be on just about anything I think would interest the community. In the spirt of this I’ll post a poll

I think this is a good tactic to increase site engagement and get people coming back every day to see what’s happening. I’ve noticed the initial surge of activity here seems to have tapered off a bit, and I’d like to see it explode with activity. I’ve voted yes, but it would be interesting to see a daily poll that changes topics regularly. Maybe even be a regular segment on the podcast? Gaming, politics, economics, news, comics, etc.
Maybe also add a way for members to submit poll questions? This might remove some of the burden from Eric and our very busy mods.

When I did it on EG it was just myself and I’d plan on doing the same thing here. If I get noticed by Rippa and the admins is irrelevant to me since I want to do it for the community foremost. Also I’d just make a thread for you guys to submit topics and you could always leave it in the comments of the poll itself.
