Even if you think the descriptions of events of the Bible didn’t actually happen, it is still true.

The morals of the Bible and the guidance provided within are true regardless of wheter they are historically accurate. Similar to the way The Boy Who Cried Wolf is one of the truest stories ever told. It is a giant book of stories on a great way to live life that is logically sound and provides the necessary heiarchy to live a moral and ethical life.

There are far too many verses telling believers to submit to authority for me to believe it’s anything but an old tool of the state. Sure, there’s some wisdom in it, but that can be said of nearly any book, especially old ones.

hardly, that standard story says the rising evil will come from the capture of the state by a liar using the teachings of the bible to turn the system on the good people (mark of the beast is supposed to be something required to purchase things)

abolishing government voluntarily and decentralizing power would avoid the bibles version of end of days

I would think the abolishing of the government is only peaceful for a while. Then those with money, power, and influence that are afraid of losing it will do everything they can to keep the status quo (massive propaganda and manipulation). What if they call the leader of the movement the antichrist?

first the idea of a sustained “state of peace” has nothing to with the apocalypse or the end of days as described in the bible

secondly free will completely removes the possibility of sustained peace

third maintaining a voluntary society requires extensive and rigorous commitment to maintaining that principle as a cultural foundation, in other words no one said it was easy we would have to work at it and form that could come together to defend themselves when such evil arises

I see it as more metaphorical forever battle, only because Revelations likely was talking about emperor Nero but that’s open to interpterion historically

I’m saying a revolution against the government will be the good side, those wanting to keep the powers at be ghe bad side. The absence of it will be the result of the victory of good vs. evil. Finally humans will have reached 100% volunteeringly cooperation.
