Daily Poll 10: Do you own Crypto Currency?
Whether you love cryptos, hate it or don’t understand them they’re here to stay and have changed how people exchange value over the internet and in general. A currency that is deregulated and not backed by any state institutions has a lot of advantages. I first found out and got interested in crypto years ago but I’ve only recently gotten more serious about owning it and thinking of it as more of a currency and not an investment. That’s just my 2 Dogecoins. I’m curious to see what you think.

I have a wallet on Edge and I’d say the best exchange would be kucoin

Kucoin is great if you want lesser known coins.
They also have free bots you can take advantage of. Their app sucks but the free bots and low fees make it great.
Kraken has relatively low fees and great staking opportunities.
Binance fees are good and they have high volume for most coins.
And you can run trading bots on them.
Trading on the BTC pair is a way to accumulate more BTC if you think an alt coin will trend higher or outperform BTC for a duration.

I’ve been investing in crypto since 2015 and recently jumped into mining(with ASICs, not jacking people’s GPUs) lol, expensive to get into unless you mine helium, trying to find other ways to generate income and build a hedge against Fiat since the dollar is on its deathbed right now.
Crypto will eventually take over traditional fiat, what that looks like in the future… time will tell.

I am definitely going to be buying more crypto after I’ve gotten out of debt which will be before the end of the new year. Crypto is very volatile and I don’t know how long of a future it has but fiat is become more like monopoly each day so I’m hopeful crypto really takes off it’s defied all my expectations so far. Just fractional shares on Robinhood. But 20 years ago when I first heard about it I wish I would’ve taken it seriously. Wouldn’t have mattered, broke as I was anyway at the time.

Luna is a very interesting project. I can see it dominate the DeFi market but I still believe BTC is the true crypto to hold.

I have my coins stored in Edge wallet. Kucoin is nice since it’s foreign based and they won’t send you a 1099 and one to the IRS
