Daily Poll 108: Do you play any instruments?
I’ve been playing guitar for over two years and the process of learning how to play has enriched my life quite drastically. The gift of music is really something and I encourage anybody that’s been thinking about learning an instrument to go ahead and do so. If can play any instruments tell us which ones and how long you’ve been playing.

My mother’s a choir director, so if you consider voice an instrument, I have 13 years of classical vocal training.
Professionally, I’ve been a sound engineer for about 28 years, primarily in live sound, though I’ve had a bit of studio experience which isn’t my cup o’ tea, so to speak.
As of late, I have enjoyed sound for live streaming, which I find to be a very cool combination of having the fun tools of studio sound, but the staging aspect of live sound, obviously through a different medium…
So I’ve considered the entire sound system to be my instrument, as I’m very engaged with the bands I work with, and the production quality of their music.
