Daily Poll 518: Do you prefer machines or free weights?
Building muscle requires consistent heavy weight training that produces enough muscular tension to train your muscles to failure. Overtime you progressively overload the amount of tension on the muscle to keep stimulating growth. This tension can be achieved in several ways but for gym training it’s divided by machines and free weights. There are tradeoffs to using both but for me I prefer free weights since I find the movements to use free weights to be the most engaging and the exercises are easy to replicate in any environment.
