Daily Poll 55: Do you watch anime?
Anime is Japanese animation. The stories are usually based of manga or a light novel and the adaptations are much more 1:1 than how the west adapts movies from books. Anime has a hardcore fanbase both in Japan and the west. I don’t watch anime much these days as the politics of Funimation and Cruncyroll have pushed me from supporting them and I don’t want to pirate anime. I used to watch quite a lot and I’ve watched hours of anime. It’s a unique medium that does a lot that you just don’t see in western media. That’s my take. What’s yours?
