  Daily Poll 6: Do you prefer Western or JRPGs?

  RPGs have been around for as long as video games have been around. Even the Atari 2600 and the first PCs had RPGs. RPGs do have constants in character progression through skills, leveling and equipment but vary greatly in gameplay and story presentation. The West and Japan both make fantastic RPGs. Both Skyrim and Persona are excellent RPGs in my opinion but a comparison shows just how little they have in common and it does make sense to delineate RPGs as being inspired by western or Japanese game design. That is just my two cents. What about you?
