Daily Poll 811: Did you buy Skull and Bones?
Assassin’s Creed IV was a hit for Ubisoft and that had a lot to die with the pirate ship sailing aspect of the game. It was used again for a bunch of later games in the franchise and it became such a staple that Ubisoft greenlit a game based around the mechanic. That game ended up being Skull and Bones, which spent years in development hell and was finally released in February of 2024. The game seems to living well under expectations. Combine that fact with Ubisoft’s poor reputation among the gaming community and I don’t think this game will go places. I haven’t played it even though they’re offering 8 hours of playtime free to pad the playerbase. What about you? Don’t forget to vote on the poll and to comment below!
