Deadpool Samurai Volume 1
The only new Marvel comic I could stomach buying was the Deadpool Manga. I got it from Barnes and Noble and read it in a day over two sittings. It’s really fun and true to Deadpool’s character. He breaks the fourth wall, is apathetic, sarcastic and inappropriate. It’s very much made for people who like Manga and anime. Deadpool’s sidekicks are two anime girls as Spiderman and Venom. It does work for me and the tackiness of it all is great setup for Deadpool’s humor. I’d recommend the read if you’re into manga for sure and if you’re only into American comics go into it with different expectations than an American take on Deadpool.
