How do you like your coffee?
Posted by bryon-rogers on January 19, 2022 at 4:14 pmCuriosity compels me to propose these questions to my fellow Macks. Do you drink coffee? Do you prefer black or cream and sugar?
Me personally, while I can drink black, I prefer medium roast, milk and sugar. Blackout Coffee has become my favorite company to drink coffee from.
How about the rest of you?

If I’m at home with my ultra fancy coffee maker I do 2 pumps Amoretti’s Butterscotch syrup and use the Cafe latte setting so I get a gorgeous cup of espresso with hot and foamed milk. I use Crigler’s Gamer Blend most often.
Regular coffee is 2 sugars and 2 cream

Black, strong, and hot is the only way I drink coffee.
-
I don’t drink coffee. I drink mostly water, ice tea and chocolate milk.
-
Iced tea, huh. I will confess, that will be an acquired taste for me.
Can’t go wrong with chocolate milk though. 😋
-
Same, no coffee. Water, milk, and a cold one sometimes.

Strong and iced, huh. You must have a cold and bitter personality. 🤣
-
Speaking of Irish Cream, which brand do you drink? Would like to taste that myself.
-
If you’re talking the real deal cream liqueur, I prefer St. Brendan’s to Bailey’s. For just the flavor when you can’t have the real stuff, International Delight because it’s easy to find and tastes decent. And I’ll admit bitterness is one of my character flaws. 🤣

What happened that Black Rifle became cucked? I’ve never tried their coffee, just heard it advertised for years on most of the boomercon networks. Just curious.

Friendly reminder: “Black Rifle Coffee Company” and “Blackout Coffee” are two separate companies, two separate owners. People easily misunderstand this the first time, including myself.

Wow, I totally missed this story. So my take away from BRCC is that their position is this:
Using a “black rifle” to kill brown people overseas while marching around in camo; a-okay. Using a “black rifle” to avoid getting craniumed by a white leftist pedophile; not okay.
Makes perfect sense.

I can drink black and no sugar, but I always prefer cream and extra sugar – 2 1/2 teaspoons

Woo my first post here!
I’m a coffee fan as much as a comic fan. My drink of choice is a flat-white with heavy cream. Favorite coffee is blonde-roasted Ethiopian Yirgacheffe.
-
A white coffee from Ethiopia, huh. Sounds like it will have a unique taste. I will have to try it one of these days. 😋
And welcome aboard by the way. 👍
-
Heh well all coffee comes from Ethiopia. Blonde is just how I like it roasted. Light-roasts are brighter, you can actually taste notes from the beans. Light-roasts also have more caffeine.
Yirgacheffe is called “The Mother of all Coffees” – it has a distinct ‘berry-flavor’ on the back end. Get some from a local roaster or a trusted service. Or like me, buy direct, and roast it yourself!

Folgers instant, just let it dissolve in my mouth.
Army tough.
🤣

Interesting choice. Never heard of it before. Probably the fastest way to get caffeinated
…and a burnt tongue. 🤣
-
Yeah with a few drops of hot water, you can fix a flat jeep-tire with it. Tastes exactly the same too. 🙂

Hey its standard fare, If its a “flavored bean” I will add cream and a sweetner, but I don’t really consider that coffee anymore. The cream and sweetner in that case bring out the additional flavor. But if its straight coffee I want to taste the coffee.
-
You make a good point. I could drink black, but I have to be in the mood for it. Black is not my regular taste, but for special occasions.

The sad part about my coffee addiction is that not only do I roast my own coffee, and I have a subscription from Atlas Coffee Club, but my daughter works at Starbucks, so she’s constantly bringing home their premium stuff and Starbucks swag.
I have French Presses, Pour-Overs, and have my coffee battlestation… yeah it’s nearly out of control.
-
Ah. Looks like we are both competing in overdosing coffee. I lose count how much coffee I drink per day, much to the surprise of many.
-
I think my average is about 8-12 espressos. My drink of choice is a 4-shot Flat White, which I have about three times a day.
On hard workdays I’ll go more. But I’m convinced that on a few occasions I had so much caffeine I could see The Otherside.
