The Army of Darkness
This was prompted by a Facebook post a friend of mine posted, poking fun at how much the Covid narrative has changed so constantly, people are getting confused as to what they “should” or “should not” do in response. In my reply, I likened the dying Covid narrative to a Frankenstein monster who is constantly falling apart and needing to be stitched back together to continue to be useful. It got me thinking about how these establishment/cathedral types use this necromantic tactic in other ways.
Eric recently talked on FCS about the resurrection of G4, in which the resurrected version is nothing short of a ghoulish monstrosity (I believe a super-chatter accurately likened it to Pet Semetary). Miles Morales, who one could argue was dead on arrival, keeps being desperately lurched forward by woke comic pros; pros who are even contemplating “What If” scenarios for Miles in which he would don the outfits of other superheroes like a shape-shifting banshee (Just Some Guy did a great video on this). Actor types such as Alyssa Milano, Sarah Silverman and LeVar Burton who are past their prime continue to peer out like ghosts from behind the gravestones of their careers to remind us how racist and sexist we are. An army of corpses has been raised, fueled by the dark magic of power hungry elites, a corrupt media and collegiate academics desperate for relevance. An Army of Darkness, so to speak.
I do believe as most of you all do that we will win, but I also believe that we must win. This article of sorts was my morning brain dump; feel free to poke holes in it as you see fit.
