I was reading some of Batman and Robin from The New 52 and it’s pretty good. I’m not much of a comics guy but I know The New 52 was from 11-16 and is probably DC’s last decent collection of storylines.

Ironically enough, the New 52 era is (up until the most recent, blatantly woke crap) DC’s worst era ever. Exceedingly few books were worth reading. The first few volumes of Batman were great, The Flash was pretty consistently solid (sans the BS theu tried to pull with “Wally”), and Geoff Johns singlehandedly made Aquaman dope as hell.

There were a few decent Justice League stories as well, but by and large New 52 was horrendous. If you’re actually enjoying what you’re reading so far, then more power to ya.

Out of morbid curiosity, what are you reading?

I’ve got the first three volumes of Batman and Robin. I also have volume 2 of Night of Owls. I need to get volume 1 and read through both stories. There’s a comic store that’s real local to me and I’m just going to buy those to support them. They do have manga too.

Court of Owls is Scott Snyder’s best work on Batman; highly recommend. DC’s best stuff, however, is in the pre-52 and the first couple of years post-52 eras. When DC Rebirth popped off, they were producing books that were hand-over-fist better than anything Marvel was and also far better than their New 52 stuff.
