  I just wanted to share the moment I realized gaming culture had been incepted. An acquaintance on Facebook at the time blocked me because we disagreed on the topic–oh well.

  At the time, the Xbox One was hitting its global release and anyone who was a gamer at the time had more important things to argue about.

  This was also the year of the Navy yard shooting and conversations about video game violence inciting :insert here: was hitting the airwaves too.
