Wraith of God
The independent Comic scene is alive and kicking thanks to comicsgate. Aaron Lopresti has launched his own imprint Empire Comics and an interconnected series of comics called the Lopresti-verse. Wraith of God takes place in the late 1800s. A man with troubled past is chosen by God to eliminate devilish monsters on earth. The first issue is hunting werewolves and it’s a fun exhilarating experience. Lopresti’s wrote and drew the comic. The art is great and the panel layout is something else. The writing is good with some exposition since this is introducing a new storyline but it’s done well. Gabe Eltaeab of Rippaverse fame colored the comic and his colorwork is done beautifully and makes the book one that really grips you from cover to cover. The campaign for this book closed but I’m sure it will be sold again. If you can find I recommend buying and reading it.
