I think Dokumaan will remain a mysterious observer, possibly playing a narrator role and teasing personal involvement for quite a while before the time is right. Probably well after all the characters are well established.

I got six books, a signed and unsigned copy of each cover. I decided against the concept art book, since it was a choice between having that or having a complete set of the comics, but in retrospect I wish I’d just spent more and gotten it. I’m excited to hold these in my hand and can’t wait to read it.

I’d love to see an animated series, even if they were just short videos that touch on some characters histories, or tease a new character or story. Kind of like the end of the Isom 1 trailer. I thought that was great, and thoroughly enjoyed seeing that this story is truly going to span an entire universe, before it even drops. It would also be interesting to see characters that only exist in one format or the other, since certain abilities and concepts are hard to transfer from a book to the screen. Honestly, I’m just excited for the series and even if it stays a comic book forever, I’ll be a fan. It would really say a lot to outdo marvel and dc without doing anything but comic books and merch. Whatever comes next, I have no doubt it will be top notch and I’m here for it.

I’m getting error 504 pages, and was getting a password protected message for a minute. I did get to look through the merch though, and it’s fucking dope. Can’t wait to read this book. Just gotta keep refreshing so I can check out.

I left TV because of ads. They drive me crazy and they’re so frequent that anything on tv is totally unwatchable. I’d rather pay a membership and not have ads. Never went back to regular tv.

I couldn’t get into invincibles. The immediate gore kind of ruined the whole vibe for me. I thought it was excessive and turned me off of the whole thing.

I’d get on board with that theory. Old friends/colleagues of his, possibly did some stuff he thought wasn’t right, and disassociated himself from them. A mending of bridges over a new conflict is my theory.

How much more entertaining could some of the banter be if main characters were on different political sides? I just think of the MCU hulk and Thor banter and see so much potential for a much more humorous dynamic if one were a liberal and the other a conservative, or even if hulks politics changed with him when he turns into the hulk.

Usually this kind of thing bugs me, but not this time. I was actually happy to see that it was overwhelmingly popular, even though it inconvenienced me for a while. Lol.

I have high hopes for this. I know Eric isn’t fucking around and we can expect a quality product. I hope he sells out of everything immediately and has to up the order quantities.

It was doing that to me too, had to refresh a few times. I guess Eric wasn’t kidding when he said we smashed his expectations.

There are far too many verses telling believers to submit to authority for me to believe it’s anything but an old tool of the state. Sure, there’s some wisdom in it, but that can be said of nearly any book, especially old ones.
